I just saw this Timex battery alarm clock with a simple yet stylish design. So, I said I need to write a small product review feature about it. I think this Timex alarm clock’s unique offering is the selectable display color which is both fun and creative.

Regarding its size, it is very handy with its small size that it can fit in one’s palm. This is great news if you want a travel alarm clock with battery back up. It is also a plug-in alarm clock with the battery as the backup.

Its display is a clear LCD and I personally love the way you can customize the display color. I however observe that blue is the best for the calming effect. As I have mentioned, it is great for your business travels and can be your second clock.

Well, there are few bad points with this Timex. First, its primary plug-in nature with the option to use battery as a back up is not entirely clear from the product labels. I also think that the display is very bright for my liking. This is a matter of personal preference though. This is great for people who require a night light. In my case, I am sleeping in a dark room and I cannot totally see the display when I turn off the back light.

The controls are user-friendly with the buttons under the cover. The design is so well though of since if you push its top, with the cover closed, only the snooze button gets pushed. This is a good idea so that you will not press any other buttons while pressing that snooze button for an extra 15-minute sleep.

All in all, the Timex alarm clock with selectable color display and battery back-up is a recommended alarm clock.
