Hemorrhoids are a problem that affects perhaps 40% of the adult population at one time or another. It’s a painful, embarrassing chronic problem that will not go away by itself.

Two of the principal risk factors for hemroid problems are sitting for long hours without getting up and moving around and low fiber diets that lead to infrequent bowel movements and hardened stool. The processed foods that make up most of the diet of industrialized societies are very low in fiber. Today’s sedentary lifestyles, low fiber diet and the need to spend endless hours sitting at desks, in front of computers or driving, work to make us all candidates for hemorrhoids problems.

When most people first experience hemorrhoid symptoms, their initial reaction is either to ignore it or get some kind of non-prescription lotion or creme to relieve the pain, itching, etc. Ignoring those symptom would not be a good thing to do. The best way to nip hemorrhoids in the bud is to start with curing them when they first appear.

The best treatment for hemorrhoids will be one that leads to a long-term, permanent cure for your hemorrhoids problem. Don’t let yourself be trapped into becoming a forever repeat customer of an ointment for only short term relief.

What you will want to look for and find is a proven cure for hemroids that has already proven itself by curing hundreds of hemorrhoid cases. Look for lots of testimonials and a guarantee, just to make sure it really works.

If you start early enough, before allowing the hemroids to grow too much, it’s relatively easy to cure. This is infinitely preferable to starting a lifetime pattern of buying a pain reliever then buying more when that runs out. Start with finding a long-term permanent solution, or a course of treatment that leads to that end.

Even with advanced hemorrhoid problems, you can find an excellent external hemorrhoid treatment that moves you in the direction of a long-term permanent cure. Use the short-term pain relievers if you must, but stay focused on getting the permanent cure…
